Robert, I have a relative (no longer alive) that was involved in a possible killing in Creek County sometime in the late 1800s, or possible early 1900. Apparently, he stabbed a man in a bar fight and fled to Oregon. However, I have no idea where this occurred and I doubt the authorities ever had his name. The only information the authorities might have is: 1) The victim was stabbed in a bar. 2) The victim did not die immediately. (possibly not at all) 3) The assailant was not apprehended. Do you know where any police records like this might be available on the net? Sounds like you were doing some police research of your own.
