Hi,Kathy! You may have just mentioned some info that I am looking for! My Mother (Margaret Elizabeth Gillentine b.30 Jan 1914,Ennis,Ellis Co.TX) started school around Shamrock ca.1919-20 and her older brother,James Russell Gillentine (b.July 1912,Vernon,Wilbarger Co.TX) also went to school there.Their parents were James A.and Liddie Ann Pringle Gillentine and James worked in the oilfields. I was just there in September but could find no school records.Sure hope you can direct me as to how/where to obtain their school records. Would also like to find a death record of their younger sister,Georgia Rita who d. there in the Flu epidemic of 1918 at 21 months of age. Any tips on that? Here's hoping!
