    3. Tracey, I have a daughter named Tracy About the mysteries. D. Earl Newsom, who lives in Stillwater, has written two books. The murders and one disappearance happened in the early 1920s. One was the assistant minister at First Baptist in Drumright. He simply vanished one Wed. nite and was never seen again. They found his clothes in a bloody bundle near a bridge at the edge of Drumright. The bridge has mostly been washed away. I have been to the site. Newsom told me that there was another site where they thought he might have been buried. The murder of a Catholic priest happened within a two year period. I'm not sure which occurred first. The priest resided in Drumright. He was headed for the country of Belgium when he was murdered in Fort Wayne, Ind. The killer was never caught. The third victim was a young boy. He was kidnapped and murdered. The killer was never caught Evidently, there are no police files on these cases. I'm told there are other unsolved murders near Oilton and at least one disappearance in Oilton. This is a summation. Write me if you have more questions. I talked to Newsom by phone. Sure wish he was on the net. Sincerely, Bob Marden John & Tracey Gregory wrote: > Bob, I am also looking for information about a murder (possible > disappearance) in Creek County. Who do your mysteries involve? > Thanks, Tracey
