In 1925 it became a school for boys with a capacity of 110 Euchees and Creeks. The girls were sent to Eufaula. This arrangement was carried on until Creek funds were exhausted. In 1928 the school opened with Federal support and received in addition to Creek and Euchee pupils, Cherokee and Seminole boys. In 1929 ninth-grade boys were placed in the public schools of Sapulpa.
