My uncle Henry O. Howell is probably listed under another's head of household in some census as you suggested. Our Web TV is shut out of many Ancestry.com affiliated websites so we cannot access sites you probably can. My grandmother was Indian (Ollie Anne Howell born 11/18/1882 North Range Indian Territory) and Henry was a couple of years older than she. I don't know where North Range Indian Territory was. Perhaps you do? Both Henry and Ollie spoke Cherokee but might have been half Choctaw and white. I appreciated your info and would appreciate any more that might come to light.
