Fairly good indexes of burials and marriages, but alphabetized each year separately, so can be tedious. Marriage books themselves are in the courthouse, a few blocks away. Probably not much in the actual record that is not in the index. Burial indexes are by each funeral home, so you might have to look in more than one book to be certain of finding what you seek. And once again, sometimes alphabetized by each year. Some of the actual mortuary books are in the Historical Society, again a few blocks away. Kevin Small collection of obits on file and alphabetized -- good collection of local paper on microfilm.
