Mary, I had checked the 1930 census for all persons named Anna in Pierce County who were her approximate age and I didn't find any matches. However, with this new surname, I tried to find her or her husband. I do not find Anna or Charles when I do a Gunns soundex search in Pierce County [i.e. searching without first names]. These are the soundex hits I get putting in Charles or Anna Gunns in the state of Washington in the 1930 census. None of them look promising to me. I did look at the Anna G. Gong [her surname looks to me on the microfilm as Long, by the way] and it isn't your Anna.
