I am searching for Keys in the Bristow area. I am looking for a obit of Herman Key son of : William Henry Key( deceased ???) and Lizzy. He died Feb 9,1937( N . F Haley and Georgia Home, of Shawnee Oklahoma Let me tell you that I would like to find death event information and a death date of William H Key. In 1920 Census William H Key and Lizzy where in South Fox, Lincoln Oklahoma, The census reads W H , head, 56 Lizzie( wife) 41 Georgia, dau 17 MO MO MO Noah son 18 or 19 Dorothy 16 MO MO MO Willie( son) 13 Mo MO MO and Herman son 8 Now the 1930 census place: Bristow City, Creek County. List Lizzy Key as head Rents/$15 52 Wd 1st married at 17 Mo Noah, son 30 Single Herman. son 19 single. I had contacted Jeanette Haley , in Chandler at the Pioneer Musuem and Historical Center, to check on William Key, if he was indexed , but said she found other Keys but not him. , at the same time someone went on line and discovered that a William Henry key is buried at New Zion Cementery In Lincoln county. she said their is a headstone but no dates. and other Keys are buried there. I hope to be able to document, Can you help me with obits?? and research directions.
