Anyone familiar with any Stocktons in Bristow? I have located a possible connection with my primary research line: John Miller Stockton born 12 Sept 1874 in AR; died 25 Nov 1960 in Bristow, according to a rootsweb page. He married Mary Ann MURRAY, perhaps 5 Jul 1891 in Johnson County, AR. The family appears in the 1930 Everidge, Choctaw, OK census and the 1920 Red Oak, Latimer, OK census. Mary Ann appears married in the 1910 Red Oak, Latimer, OK census, without her husband and living in her father James Jacob Murray's household. However, she is listed as Mahalia and is without several children she should have, if this Mary Ann who married John Stockton is my Mahalia Murray. Searching for the burial place of Nancy A. Wilson. She died sometime after 1938, she was living in Sunny Slope Twp in 1930. Thanks, Gary Ayres
We're in the process of digging through a box of my mother-in-laws things and have come across lots of obituaries and Funeral Cards from the sixties and seventies. These will be for Sapulpa, Kiefer, Kellyville and Mounds. We are posting them as fast as we can on our website, "Kinfolk Korner" at: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~kinfolkkorner Just scroll down to the Sapulpa Pages (on the homepage) and you'll find the hyperlink for these new listings. And check often . . . we've just started listing them and have much more work to do! Happy hunting! Blessings, Susan Strain <>< "Kinfolk Korner"

Looking for information on my great great grandmother Wilson, N. A. In 1920 she was living in Creek Co., Sunny Slope Twp. In 1930 she was also living in Creek Co., Sunny Slope Twp. I believe she died sometime after 1938. She was married to Isaac S. Wilson who died sometime between 1910 and 1920. In 1910 they lived in Payne C0. Any help would be appreciated and thank you, Gary Ayres garyayres@centurytel.net
Is there an index of the burials in Creek County, OK? I am interested in finding if a relative is buried there. I found her in Creek County, OK on the 1930 census, living in Sapulpa Twp. I need to know a death date and burial place of Emma Gilmore and her husband, Horace E. Gilmore. Hopefully, they stayed in Creek County. Thanks for any help someone can provide. Helen in West Des Moines, Iowa
Sometime around 1929 Lewis Hungerford Osmon is said to have come to Sapulpa from Ohio - and never went back home again. I have no other information on him other than he was married when he arrived. Has anyone ever seen this name crop up in their research? Thanks for any tidbits! Bobby Dobbins Title in Loma Linda, CA
