    1. [OKCREEK-L] Death Records not at Div of Vital Records---now what????????
    2. Gloria & Bruce Wilson
    3. I need some help. My gr grandmother died while visiting her sister in Sapulpa, OK in 1939. Her body was shipped to a funeral home in St. Louis MO. for burial in Calvary Cemetery. The funeral home record states she died in Sapulpa and gives the Sapulpa doctor's name. My problem is that the Div of Vital Records in Oklahoma City says it cannot find the death certificate. I do not know what funeral home was used in Sapulpa to ship the body to St. Louis. Does anyone know if some sort of certificate would have been required to move the body from Ok to St. Louis, Mo??? Any ideas on where I go from here would be appreciated. Mary A. Rick-------------Mary Angelina Klingelsmith Rick date of death July 8, 1939 in Sapulpa, OK

    3. Thanks for the information. I called Smith Funeral Home and for the year that I am interested [1939], they believe there are no exisiting records. They did mention that for the period circa 1910-the early 1930s, the Sapulpa Burial Association records were donated to the historical society. _________________________________________________________________ MSN 8 helps eliminate e-mail viruses. 2. Doris R Yocham
    3. Re Sapulpa Burial Association, it is listed in the Sapulpa city directory for 1963 and was operated by Smith Funeral Home, 316 E. Lee, Sapulpa, which is still in operation today. We have many of the burial records for the old Buffington Funeral Home, which was succeeded by Smith Funeral Home, but we do not have Smith's records. I suggest you call Smith Funeral Home at 918-224-1313 and see if they have the records you are seeking. Doris Yocham, President Sapulpa Historical Society
