I am searching for descendants of my gr-grandmothers brother, Davis Collins and his son Nick. Davis and Jane Collins are buried in South Heights and His son, Nickles is buried in Green Hills. I have obit for both. The following is part of NA Collins obit. Survivors include two sons, Loren D. Collins, Tulsa, and Lawrence A. Collins, Van Nuys, Cal.; one daughter, Mrs Floyd Wright, 704 S. Division; one brother, Herbert Collins, Harlingen, Tex.; one sister, Mrs Charles Rauh, Kiefer; 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Julia...I live in Depew and at one time was a neighbor to John Bryden who is now deceased. The old family home has been torn down but was used in a painting by our native Depew painter, Wayne Cooper. That photo is now hanging in Depew's Spiritbank. It is a bankrobbery and the old family home is in the background. My husband and I also rented from one of the Bryden family members who at that time lived in Texas (I believe). What kind of information would you like to have? Perhaps there are still older citizens who remember the family. Are you interested in photos of their graves? Have you visited the Oakdale Cemetery site that is online? It only lists the info on the gravemarkers but if you need photos, please let me know by corresponding on my personal website.
