    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/gYB.2ACE/13163 Message Board Post: As you can see from tons of my posts, I love doing genealogy. Living in Creek county I have found tons of information in this area, and found how to get tons more. If you are looking for one obit or one headstone picture, I will do that for cost (no cost if everything is emailed), but some people who live out of state need much more, like marriage licenses, funeral records, several obits, city directory listings, or records in areas I don't normally travel to on a voluntary basis, etc. For those people I have offered these services on ebay. Please check my listing at: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5554327383 If you have any questions, I'll be delighted to answer them. Bobbi

    2. I should have explained that my Mother was born in the Salisaw area, and in 1898, her Father died, and the family was at loose ends, and her Mother took the family to the Micawber area, where my Mother met her husband to be. Mother's Mom took Mama and her fiance to Salisaw to be married. I have the record of their marriage in Sapulpa. So, that is the reason I asked a lookup for the baby's birth/death in the Sapulpa/Micawber area.

    2. I saw your e-mails, and wonder if you could look up a name for me. It is for my Mother's little boy. Mama and her first husbend were married in Dec. 1911, and had a little boy. I don't know for sure when he was born -- probably sometime in 1912, or up to 1913. He died when he was 18 months old, and was buried in that general area. They lived in, or close to Micawber, OK. I would sure appreciate having either his birth, OR death and burial info. The family were white, and my Mother was raised in I.T. Oklahoma, close to Salisaw. Thanks very much. 3. 1900 Territorial Census cross-reference & sketches (both O.T. & I.T.) http://www.rootsweb.com/~itgenweb/itprojects/census.htm Census data are available on microfilm, CD, or via online subscriptions. Matching this data with locations in present-day counties is, however, something of a challenge because what is now the state of Oklahoma was still Oklahoma Territory and Indian Territory in 1900. Today's counties were created at or after statehood [1907]. The information provided on this site should help you match census citations with locations in present-day counties or help you determine which Territorial ED to check if you know the present-day location. 3. vICKY. most courthouses have a cross reference on marriage licenses. One by the groom's name and one by the bride's name.
