    2. The Tulsa Society has published some books on the cemeteries in this area. I found the graves of my g-grandfather and gg-grandfather in one of their books. Both had died back in Indian Territory before 1900. They were in a small cemetery (about 14 graves) on a ranch in the Bixby bottom. Anyway, you might try checking their books.

It's the same for your web site. * Is your web site hidden under a basket? * Can prospects easily find your web site? >From one business person to another, let me ask this question - If prospects can't find your web site, then how do you expect to make any money from it ??? You Can't.... You'll be amazed at how easy it is to immediately get the kind of exposure your web site needs to be successful. Who uses our service? The List Goes On And On... A good question you might be asking yourself is "Why should I pay these guys even 5 cents to do this? Can't I do it myself?" The answer is - sure you can but let me ask you this - Isn't your time worth more than 5 cents??? It sure had better be !!! You know as well as I that your time is best utilized managing your business and not sitting at some keyboard hours upon hours trying to save less than 5 cents for each submission. See how it's kind of crazy to try to tackle this on your own. It's just not cost effective to try to do this yourself. Not to mention that you will be totally nuts within 2 days of attempting to do this and you'll be pulling your hair out and wanting to throw your keyboard across the room :-) Another good question you might be asking is "OK, this almost sounds too good to be true. I've seen other companies that charge several hundred dollars for this type of service and you're telling me that you can do it for only $39.95?" What's the catch ??? There isn't one... 2. Sue Miller
    3. I am seeking information about Micayah SCOTT and his family. According to the little information that I have, he resided near Childers Station, Indian Territory in 1886. Other family names that I can provide at this time, include his children, John W. Scott - born abt 1866, Elizabeth Scott born abt 1868, Eveline Scott born abt 1870, Rebecca Scott born abt 1873, Francis Scott born about 1877, and (?) Scott born about 1877 (?). Apparently Micayah Scott declined admission to the Cherokee roll, but as years went on, some of his family applied for re-admission. I would like to find the information that was on that application, and if it was accepted. I have been unable to find the names on the original rolls. This is a project that I am helping a friend with, so I don't have a lot of information! Thanks for any you can provide! Sue Peden Miller

Thanks for responding, The BREWER line is about 3 generations MO, they are from around Thayer, what little I have on the Beckhams (married in) they were from that area as well, but since they are the marry-ins they may be from AR. The Boykins came from IL to MO, but there are some in AR, a different branch, but related. Thanks again. 1. [OKCREEK-L] BRUNHAM,HARRIS, CARNEY, ARCHER, Columbia Porter, d. Sapulpa 1924
    2. Jan Patterson
    3. Good Evening, My lady of mystery is my great grandmother Columbia Porter BRUNHAM/BRANHAM/BRANNON/BRENNON HARRIS CARNEY ARCHER She went by the Christian name of Porter. Born abt. 1865 d. Aug 23, 1924 either 11 miles north of Sapulpa (her residence) or 11 miles north of Bristow, the funeral home records in Bristow only state 11 miles north, but not of what town. Porter Archer is buried in the Sunrise Cemetery. She married 3 times that I know of. First to Jefferson HARRIS on January 17, 1882 in Franklin County, AR, they had 5 children in the 8-10 years they were married, then my great grandfather Chesterfield M. (probably Monroe) CARNEY on June 12, 1892 in Crawford County, AR, they had one child, my grandmother Galeenah CARNEY (aka: Lena) and finally she married George W. ARCHER on Sept. 11, 1898, they had one son Homer ARCHER. The funeral home records show she was a widow when she died and my aunts say Homer went to live with either a LIVINGSTON or HEAD family. Porter's HARRIS children were raised by their father. Porter and my g-grandfather Chesterfield fought constantly over the custody of Little Lena and kidnapped her back and forth when she was small. Chesterfield finally being the victor and managed to hide her for several years. Only Homer ARCHER was raised by his mother until her death. This is all I know about my great-grandmother. I just recently found out about the Sapulpa connection, and have not check those census records as yet. However, I did check the 1910 and 1920 census' for Bristow and could not locate her in them. Do any of these names sound familiar to anyone? Are there any relatives out there? Can you help me figure out Porter's lineage? Besides the census records can anyone suggest another place to look? Thank you for your time and help. Jan -- ANNOUNCEMENT: OUR WEBPAGE IS FINALLY UPDATED, BACK UP AND RUNNING, PLEASE COME BY FOR A VISIT. IT'S NOW OVER 23,300 NAMES. 1. [OKCREEK-L] BOYKIN, Earl, b. Drumright March 18, 1925
    2. Jan Patterson
    3. Good Evening, My father Earl BOYKIN was born in Drumright on March 18, 1925 to my grandparents Edward Theodore BOYKIN and Felicia BREWER. My grandmother says they were there looking for work when he was born and staying with her sister (unfortunately I didn't write down in my notes WHICH sister) and her husband. The sister's names were:Althea Hagerbaumer BREWER md. Clarence PIRTLE, (I know he was a police officer in Tulsa in later years), Pauline BREWER md. Howell Jack HANSELL, and Coeta BREWER md. Noble Riley BECKHAM. My question why were these Native Missourians in Drumright during 1925, the oil boom was pretty much over by then, but I do know my grandfather worked in the oilfield according to my father's birth certificate. I would like to be able to find out, what company he worked for and if the rascal had a police record (most likely for enjoying the spirits and fisticuffs-although his father was arrested for bootlegging). Can anyone give me any ideas as to how I can find answers to this? Do any of these names sound familiar to anyone?
