    2. Jack Delmar
    3. Hi, I'm Jack Delmar, I grew up in Kiefer and there is no cemetary in Kiefer.. My family who was there from 1905 until now . Our family is buried in 1. Mounds Cemetary, 2. South Hieghts Cemetary and City Cemetary in Sapulpa.... There is one cemetary between Kiefer and The Beeline ( US 75) just so on the Tulsa/Creek county line road. However it's an OLD cemetary. I think it's called Twin Mounds Cemetary. 2. Jack--and to Sandy also who sent the original post---Sorry 'bout that error in the name of the cemetery---I was meaning South Heights Cemetery. I think that Green Hills Memorial Gardens must be the name of a portion of that cemetery. Maybe I haven't confused Sandy too much since I addressed my post to Bob instead of Sandy-------really, Sandy--all OKies are not as ditzy as I am!!! Anyway, hopefully Jack got you all straightened out about the names of the cemeteries. Everyone have a good evening and better tomorrow---I sure hope to. Happy Hunting!! And tell Lynne I said HI!! 1. Re: [OKCREEK-L] Kiefer burial
    2. Robert, I have been trying to think where all the cemeteries are around Kiefer. There is one between mounds and Kiefer. From the stop sign in Kiefer you go South on the old 75 highway. It is about 3 or three miles out of town, there is a sign that tells you where to turn left (East). There are a lot of small cemeteries around, I think most of them have been put in books. Unless they were indian. Some of those are private. I will look when I go to the library. Ona

    1. Re: [OKCREEK-L] Kiefer burial
    2. Bob, saw your post regarding cemetery in Kiefer, OK---I am now in LA, but I grew up in Sapulpa which is 5 miles south of Kiefer and the town I believe has only one cemetery. Perhaps there were family cemeteries back then that we are not aware of. But, the Sapulpa cemetery is only a hop, skip, and a jump (that's OKie talk) from Kiefer. Green Hills Memorial Cemetery. Perhaps you could look there. This cemetery has been there for many, many years. Also, Mounds is just as small as Kiefer and probably has only one cemetery. They shouldn't be hard to find once you get into town. If you blink your eyes, you may miss both Kiefer and Mounds if you're not careful (LOL) !!!! I don't know if any of this will be of any help, but good luck in your search. Jerri Mahoney [email protected]

    1. [OKCREEK-L] Kiefer burial
    2. Robert Marden
    3. Friends, I have brought this up before, but I still haven't found what I need. In my grandmother's Bible, she writes "Luella Radell Marden was born dead Mar. 9, 1914 at Kiefer, Okla." Is there more than one cemetery where this baby would have been buried. Is there a list of graves at Mounds or wherever the burial might have taken place. I intend to pay my respects, so any help is appreciated. Sincerely, Bob Marden, Harrison, P.S. I will be in Oilton for the school reunion Memorial Day weekend. Would like to find this grave, if possible. Thanks.
