    3. Harold, There probably weren't any. From my research here in Cleveland County, I discovered that the early funeral homes started out as furniture companies that sold caskets. When someone died, the family would go to the furniture store and buy a casket and do the burying themselves. Oklahoma didn't require death certificates until 1917. About that time the furniture store became an offical funeral home. There are no official records of burials before 1918 in Cleveland County.
