I need some advice on a situation. I just called Student records at Lawton ISD and they said that I would have to get a court order to look at the records of those 2 kids of Preston Leonard. Well, it was nice to hear that their records went as far back as 1907 but, I don't know their names just that they attended school there in the early 20's. Now, I don't have the money to get a lawyer. Isn't there a way that I could write a judge there and ask him to give me permission?? My goodness that is all I did in Wichita Falls,TX to get my husband's adoption records unsealed! I heard nightmares of how people had such a difficult time getting adoption records unsealed! Not a problem here! I just don't know what judge to write to!! Can some one please give me some advice since I don't live near Lawton. Jennifer
