Jesse was an iterant farmer, then worked on the railroad. Albert Raymond (Ray), John Ples, Lorena Ethel, Florence Maud and Claire Opal were all born in Oklahoma, (delayed birth records in Texas say they were born in Paul's Valley, although daddy John always said "near Duncan") and the family was on the 1910 Richards Township census. Florence Maud was born in 1906, and died 22 March 1909. It would be nice to know where she is buried and, if her gravesite needs tending, do so.
