    2. In a message dated 1/21/99 4:37:26 AM, OKCOMANC-D-request@rootsweb.com writes: << Does anyone have cemetery information on Highland Cemetery? >> I don't have a complete address for Highland, but I know it is located on North Ft. Sill Blvd. in Lawton. The zip is 73101. A call to your local library can probably get you the complete address, assuming your city/town has a fairly large library. Sheridan

The library in Lawton, Carnegie Library has an excellant genelaogy dept and I am sure they must have a list of volunteers that might be of help to you. Good luck. Lynne

    2. Scott and Becky Gallops
    3. Dear list, i was on this list earlier. I am looking for the Mcmahon family in Comanche county (lawton) -- my grandfather said one of his relations left indiana and went there. My GGGrandfather was a Timothy mcmahon who married a Mary O'connell who was from County cork, Ireland. They ported in Philidelphia, Pa in the late 1840's to early 1850's. They had a son, John (he was born in 1839). Timothy was born approximately in 1800 and Mary was born approximately in 1815. They moved to Ohio where they had a daughter in 1854 -- Mary.. This is where we think Timothy got his naturalizations papers. Then they moved to LaPorte county,Indiana. {We think Timothy left other children in Ireland; no proof except the age difference between john and mary which was 17 years}. John married a Catherine Cain and had 11 children. Mary married a Thomas Jordan (then we loose track of them) -- maybe they moved to chicago but ??? John's children were as followed (i will only list the names of the children -- if anyone wants specific dates and time frames -- e-mail me at shellie@mysurf.com . 1) Schuyler 2)Margerat (maggie) 3) Edmund 4) Mary 5) Timothy 6) Grace 7) George 8) Anne 9) James 10) Rollo 11) leo most of these children stayed in indiana but someone moved to oklahoma and i would sure like to figure it out -- please help if you can. shellie
