My grandmother was born in Boswell to Loyce McLemore and William Armitage. I know she is part (perhaps half) CHerokee Indian. Loyce and William were both born in Texas, Wm. in Dallas, so there is a Texas connection. Sounds like there are still McLemores in Chotaw County.
