Searching for info. re: James Thomas "JT" BOLES born 7/16/1871 in Clinton Co., Albany, KY and died 5/14/1952 in Choctaw Co., Hugo, OK. He married 6/11/1899 in Pickett Co., Byrdstown, TN to Minnie Ann Dowdy. She was born 12/11/1878 in Pickett Co., Byrdstown, Tn & died 8/15/1967 in Choctaw Co., Hugo, OK. Both are buried in Springs Chapel Cemetery. Minnie's parents were Jacob Arnold DOWDY (buried in Miami, OK)& Mirey KERNEY (buried in Pickett Co., TN). Minnie's siblings were as follows: 1. Ellen Melissa "Lissa" died in Mullins, OK & married Pleasant Taylor MULLINS 2. Adam (fact: could have changed his name to Charley HART) 3. Eva married Tasso PRYOR * his parents were George W. PITTMAN & Eliza "Lizzie" CARGILE PRYOR 4. John W. (may have changed his surname to SMITH) married Alma WOODHOUSE 5. Sherman married in Ringling, OK to Mary Frances MITCHELL 6. Ida married James COOK JT & Minnie BOLES had the following children: 1. Maudie Mae born 1900 & died 3/1936 from a car accident in Choctaw Co., Hugo, OK. She married George S. COOK 2. Lindsay Arnold born 8/9/1901 in Scott Co., Byrdstown, TN & died 6/21/1949 from a car accident in Moskogee Co., OK. She is buried at Fort Gibbons, OK. Married to Reba Nell WATSON. They had 3 children: a. George Thomas BOLES of Oklahoma City, OK b. Helen Marie BOLES of Oklahoma City, OK married: unknown CAUBLE c. Edna Faye BOLES of Muskogee, OK 3. Nannie Marm "Nancy" born 7/13/1904 & died 1982 in Choctaw Co., Hugo, OK. She married Frank WARREN. They had the following 4 children: a. Minnie Ozella married 1st: unknown STEVENS married 2nd: unknown PARRISH b. Dewey c. JoAnn married unknown HARVEY d. Dorothea Mae "Dot" married George McFARLAND (died 3/01) of Antlers, OK e. Betty f. Johnny 4. Myra Tennessee "Tennie" born 11/22/1907 & died 5/1987 in Antlers, OK. Her last known marriage: unknown SATTERFIELD 5. Eva or Ava I really appreciate anything remotely possible. I have been searching for this part of my family for almost 3 years now. Learning /Getting the computer has been beneficial in so many ways, but I think I'm still new at this stuff. THANKS AGAIN!!
