Latest additions to the Choctaw Co genweb site include: (1) Indian Pioneer Interviews with Augusta Tucker & Lula Everidge, (2) photo of Harriet Everidge, (3) a list of valedictorians / student council & national honor society presidents of Hugo High School, (4) the obit of Alice Fay Roebuck Gentry, (5) photo of Judge Oakes residence (6) Cemetery laws/statutes. (7) Mt Olivet cemetery was completed and added in February (8) Boswell's Restland was added in early April. The county site currently has over 420 pages, more than 100 obits, over 700 headstone photos (total images online in excess of 2500). If any list members have material they'd like to contribute to the county site, please email the info to me at okchocta@swbell.net Just about anything is welcome.... old photos, obits, wills, deeds, school rosters.... you name it and okchocta needs it. Just think how much more information would be available if everyone pitched in and contributed. Everything is important.
