The Barnes family is hard to trace. Especially my line. My grandfather's people came from Tennessee to Louisana and Mississippi to Arkansas and settled in Arkansas for 20-30- years then they started migrating to Oklahoma and Texas.They were of Choctaw descent though. My grandfather's wife however was a Jordon and possibly of Cherokee descent from Arkansas. She died in McCurtain County and is buried at Wheelock Cemetery but I can't find out who has the records in the late teen's early 1920 as they were moving to Choctaw County/Texas. Glenda Glenda
