Surnames: stephenson snow Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/zZB.2ACI/214.1 Message Board Post: hi i saw your inquiry on rootsweb.com. some of my ancestors were named stephenson that lived in soper ok. ida ross stephenson married john snow in the late 1800's and apparently got divorced and went back to soper ok. with her children because she and her family are listed on the 1920 census for choctaw co. ok. i assume she left hamilton co. texas and went back to soper ok. after her divorce. one of her children stella snow born 1905 married my grandfather eric(k) smith in apparently the early 1920's. i know there are not many stephensons in soper ok. because it is a small town. do you think there could be a connection if your ancestors are from soper ok or the hugo. ok. area. thanks ross smith
