    1. [OKCHOCTA] WILKINSON/FITZGERALD/COFFEY/STEPP
    2. >From the listings of Mt. Olivet cemetery I located Fred and Maud WILKINSON. The information on the headstones gave me dates of their deaths (1955 and 1951). With this knowledge I wrote to the funeral home and received more detailed information. The notations seem to reflect who paid for the funeral expenses. I believe that a daughter, Ruth Fitzgerald and B W Coffey, a son, Denton Wilkinson, (Tulsa address) and Ivan Stepp are the children of Fred and Maud Wilkinson. If anyone knows of these families please contact me. Fred Wilkinson was the brother of Henry Quentin Wilkinson of Durant (Bryan County) and John C. Wilkinson of Bennington (Bryan County). From the funeral home form I now have the name of their father and the information that Fred was born in 1878 in Fannin County Texas. It has taken me years to get that information. Now I can begin researching in Fannin County census records.

    1. [OKCHOCTA] NEED OBIT if possible
    2. Have exhausted all leads I know about. It would help if I could find the obit on Sarah L. Wright, died Sept 9, 1921, Hugo OK. This lady was on the 1880 AR census and then disappears for years. Found on the 1920 OK census in the home of her son, James Henry Wright, of Hugo, OK, Choctaw Co. I am curious about the intervening 40 yrs. as have not been able to find three of six of her children. Since she did not live with James Henry in 1910, she had to be living in another household (a daughter's ?). She may have married a Mr. Norton in the early 1890's. Would appreciate any help anyone could give me with this. <mphsbell@bellsouth.net>

    2. Jackie, I am interested in your surname "Snow" in Choctaw County, OK and am wondering if there might be a connection to the Snow family that I am researching there. They are Robert T Snow born 1858 MO, died 1941 Choctaw County; and wife Prudence Elizabeth "Bettye" (Campbell) born 1858 MO, died 1944 Choctaw County. I haven't found anything there, except that they are buried in the Mt Olive Cemetery at Hugo, OK. They had one son listed in the 1880 Knox County, MO census - Warren born 1880 MO. Don't know if there were other children. I would appreciate hearing from you. Lou Waggener
