She was born in either Johnson or Floyd County KY. I believe she is the grandaughter of Jesse Osborn and Elizabeth Lemaster (d/o Eleazor Lemaster and Machell Tackett). I have noticed that many of Jesse's grandchildren are noted as being buried in Tahlequah. I was hoping to find Osborn descendants that might know more about the family. I cannot establish a proven link to Jesse yet but after looking at every possible family in 8 counties, two of his sons are the only ones with Elizabeths born near 1838. Nothing is known about either Elizabeth and I believe one of them to be mine. My Elizabeth Osborn was b. ca 1837 (date varies each census by a year or so) and married a Bays before marrying John Perry Friend s/o John Friend and Rachel Brown (d/o Samuel Brown and Frances Crow). John Friend owned an inn in Prestonsburg, Floyd County. I descend from Elizabeth and John Friend's daughter Mae married to George Benjamin Justice of Louisa, Lawrence County Kentucky. As I said, most of Jesse Osborn's grandchildren migrated to live in Tahlequah.
