Listers- Does anyone out there know if there are any 'transit permits' or 'burial permits' available for Cherokee County? I am trying to locate death information for Neal (maybe Cornealous) Lonzo Morton. I have been told that he died about 1915, in Qualls, Cherokee County, OK. and is buried at South Bethal Cemetery, Braggs. I have been informed that there is no death certificate. Does anyone have any information about funeral homes that were operating at that time and in that area? I would very much appreciate any help or sugestion. Ms. Cecil V. Boyd
