    3. Thanks very much, Charlotte. I will follow up on your suggestions. The only tricky part is that Sickey Sanders didn't register for any of the later rolls. How he got his land is a mystery to me. His son, (my grandfather), Andy Sanders did register for all the rolls he was alive to do (born 1880), and HE got allotments. Had it not been for his application saying who his father was, I wouldn't be able to track Sickey Sanders at all. That's why I was so excited to see mention of Sickey Sanders place on Nathaniel Dow Willis' interview with the WPA.
