    3. I forgot to mention, Tahlequah is a Cherokee word meaning "two is enough" because two of the seven Cherokee clans showed up in what is now Tahlequah, OK (The remaining five clans refused to participate.) to develop the Cherokee Nation in Okla. I.T. This the the site of the Cherokee County Courthouse and all of the offical Cherokee business is still conducted from there. This is also the site of Northeastern State Univ. where Derald, Gerald and I went to school and was originally the first female seminary in Okla. Wado (Cherokee word for hello, good-by, and thank you.)
