    3. Hello, We moved from Union about 1955, just after I had finished the 5th. grade. At that time Eugene Carter taught K-6 (I believe) and Delphy Thompson taught 7-8. After graduation from the 8th, the students rode the bus into Tahlequah to attend Bagley Junior High. When we moved into town Mrs. Thornton was the cook and she was helped by students. We had no ukulele instructor. See how education is just going down hill. ;) I will contact you, maybe tomorrow. I am interested in hearing about the school and the rest of the neighborhood. Thank you for taking the time to write. Cecil At 11:47 PM 09/05/2000 -0500, you wrote: >Cecil- >My mom & dad were the country school teachers at Union School back before it >closed about 1963.
