As far as I know, the Ross family associated with Stick Ross area were colored. The patriarch ot the family was a freed slave of the John Ross family that took the name Ross. There was a long article in the Talhlequah Daily Press on it just a few weeks ago. I do not know about a cemetery called Stick Ross Cemetery. There is however two cemeteries next to eachother called Hendricks and Greenleaf Cemeteries on Stick Ross Mountain.
