Resided in AR and Barry Co. MO, prior to his arrival. Purchased property in 1808-09 in Hulbert. Most of his children raised around Nugent Prairie. Henry died in 1912 in Hulbert. My interest is his wife Amanda (Melinda) Martin b. 1849 AR. d. 1925 Ponca City, OK. Amanda, had 2 children by her 1st husband MR. Hurt. Margaret A. Hurt b. abt 1864 MO married a Mr. Jackson in Barry Co., MO and William Scott Hurt b.abt 1868 in I.T.OK believe William Hurt resided in Cherokee Co., till his death may have married Rita? Possibly lived around Tahlquagh. I would like to find out more about him so I can go on with my research. Amanda Martin siblings: Niccie Martin may have married a Noah Melton, William Henry Martin, James Martin, Dick Martin and Brown Martin. They may have resided in AR around Boone Co.? Attempting to find information on the LEATHERS family who resided near the Illinois River in Tahlequah, on the Illinois River about 1907. Mr. Leathers name was possibly Rolleigh (Ralligh or Ralleigh). They had a daughter, Ladusky who married James Tipton REYNOLDS, 14 MAR 1872 in Boone Co., AR.. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
