Looking for information on Lou Larkin Pierce buried in Restland Cemetery at Boswell, OK. Who was her husband? She was married to a Sam Pierce. Does any one have dates on her or him. I am told his children from a wife at Paris, TX went and took his body back to Texas to be buried by their mother. I have found a son buried where she his. He was born in 1914 so they must have married in 1913. that is the year the earlier wife died. His first wife died in 1900 and I have information on that family. I am told he was 100 yrs old when he died and had 20 children. Now excuse my felling on this but Sam would have been 79 when he married Lou and I just don't think a man can have 10 kids after that. Five by first wife and five by second. I think someone has their Sam's mixed up. Wanda
Sue Reed inquired about Youngs and others. I have no information on any of them, however, I have seen from other lists that sometimes Youngblood was shortened to Young. Good Luck, it's a pretty common name and won't be easy. Keith

She was born in either Johnson or Floyd County KY. I believe she is the grandaughter of Jesse Osborn and Elizabeth Lemaster (d/o Eleazor Lemaster and Machell Tackett). I have noticed that many of Jesse's grandchildren are noted as being buried in Tahlequah. I was hoping to find Osborn descendants that might know more about the family. I cannot establish a proven link to Jesse yet but after looking at every possible family in 8 counties, two of his sons are the only ones with Elizabeths born near 1838. Nothing is known about either Elizabeth and I believe one of them to be mine. My Elizabeth Osborn was b. ca 1837 (date varies each census by a year or so) and married a Bays before marrying John Perry Friend s/o John Friend and Rachel Brown (d/o Samuel Brown and Frances Crow). John Friend owned an inn in Prestonsburg, Floyd County. I descend from Elizabeth and John Friend's daughter Mae married to George Benjamin Justice of Louisa, Lawrence County Kentucky. As I said, most of Jesse Osborn's grandchildren migrated to live in Tahlequah. Other allied families such as Ramey, Bryan, Cheek and Van Hoose lived nearby in Washington County Arkasas.. -- Michelle Tucker ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ OKGenWeb County Coordinator: Cherokee Co.: http://www.rootsweb.com/~okchero2/index.htm OKGenWeb Archives: Adair Co.: http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/ok/adair/adair.html Sequoyah Co.: http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/ok/sequoyah/sequoyah.html Michelle's Home Page: http://members.home.net/famhist/shell.htm Countiss Connections: http://members.home.net/famhist/countiss.htm

We would like to find out some more information on him, his parents, and sibblings. His mother lived in Tahlequah until she died. We were told that her name at death was Mary Emeline Parr.
