    1. [OKCARTER-L] SULLIVAN/CALDWELL Suggestions
    2. Linda Hart
    3. Greetings to all, Thanks to your help I connected with the funeral home for my g-grandfather, Silas SULLIVAN. Now I am looking for information on his wife, Minnie Mae (CALDWELL) SULLIVAN. The facts I have are: 1. Minnie, b 1 Sept 1895, d 17 Feb, 1939, is buried next to Silas, d 1937, at Pruitt Cemetery. 2. Neither Harvey-Douglas nor Bettis-Craddick Funeral Homes prepared Minnie for burial. Also contacted the Greater SW Historical Society to see what records they had regarding Pruitt Cemetery and they were unable to add anything new. 3. I sent for her death certificate based on the date on the gravestone, and the people at Vital Stats were unable to find any death record for Minnie Sullivan for the years 1938 and 1939. It is possible that one of Minnie's parents were Choctaw. If that is the case, would the tribe have prepared her for burial? I have not been able to find the SULLIVANs in the 1920 census, so I do not know where Minnie was born, nor where her parents came from. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I should proceed from here? Research would be so much easier if these darn relatives would just stay put and make sure the trail doesn't get cold :-). Thanks for any assistance or ideas. Regards, Linda Hart [email protected]
