There are about 5 of us looking into the same family. We all have heard the same story. Our great grand father Jim Lofton was captured by the Commache (think I'm spelling that right) with his sister. We he was about 5 he and his sister were traded to the Chickasaw's from around the Paris Texas and then Healdton Area. They were raised by the Chickasaw's and he finally married a lady name Nancy Williams who was Chickasaw. This is a list that I have hope it might help.
