Surnames: Burks, Spoon Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/UYB.2ACE/1465 Message Board Post: I am trying to find a local newspaper story or obituaries for Roberta Sylvia Burks who killed her two children Robbie and Randy on or around April 11, 1966, but am having no luck. Sylvia Roberta Spoon Burks was born May 11, 1933 and her husband's name was Dallas Burks. You would think something of this nature would be easy to find a record of, but I can't even find a record of where these people are buried. This research is an attempt to complete my family history, and would make it more accurate, if I could find the actual news stories that went with the event.
