I understand that John Walker Morris, was admitted to the bar at age 22, and was elected a member of the Texas Legislature, and was located in Ardmore, OK in 1901. John Walker Morris, was married in 1887 in Cameron, TX to Mattie Nabours. Their son, J. W. Morris Jr., was a band instructor in Iowa; Illene Childre was a music teacher in West TX; and Mozelle White, was wife of a real estate and loan dealer at Madill, OK. John Walker Morris, parents were Alfred William Morris and Matilda Palmer, dau. of Martin Parmer/Palmer.
