September 1, 1916, Special Officer Oscar Alexander was killed in a shootout with bootleggers George and Mose Love. The news of this shootout and the obituary for officer Alexander were posted in the Daily Ardmorite on September 3. Can someone on this list please tell me if the Love boys were brought to trial, and if so, when was the trial and what happened to them? Are there articles in the Ardmoreite? If so, about when?
