Surname Holybee My grandfather, John Francis Holybee, was born 1886, married 1905 in Ardmore, OK, and is buried in Ardmore Cemetery. The online Cemetery gives him as buried in Rose Hill Cemetery with his death date as December 31, 1920. Yet, when I sent money to State for a death certificate, they have searched twice and cannot find one. I was under the assumption that to be buried, one had to have had a doctor issue a death certificate. How can I possibly get proof of his death? I would like to know what he died of.
