Curtis T. Rodgers was born 1904 in Springer and Susie Belle Emerson was born 1908 in Coleman. The parents of each moved from Wise Co. Texas to Oklahaom in the 1890's and to the Rio Grande Valley in south Texas around 1932 during the beginnning of the Great Depression. The parents Curtis were Charley Richard RODGERS and Maggie Lee PHILLIPS. The parents of Susie were Frederick (Fred) Emerson and Mary Jane Tomerlin. Has anyone heard of these families?
