Surname: Mitchell I too am interested if anyone knows where/how to get info on old records from the Confederate Soldier's Home. My gg grandmother Lucy Martin Mitchell died in 1934 in the Confederate Home, according to her death certificate, having lived there at least 14 years since she appears there in the 1920 census. I have not been able to obtain an Oklahoma death certificate for her husband William Grissom Mitchell, although I have been told he is buried in OK. I would like to know if the home had any info on William's soldier's records, as well as place of death, if the records could be found, as well as any additional info on Lucy.
