Ok Obits Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ok/CarterObits/92 Surname: WILLIAMSON, CORNWELL, HATHCOCK, ADKINS, SNIDER ------------------------- Dr. T. C. Williamson (shown in the 1890 Pickens, IT, census as "C. Williams, Dr.) was living in Healdton, (now Carter County) in 1890 with two males and one female. It is believed the two males were his sons, Thomas Dorsey Williamson and Maxmillian Wade Williamson, who married soon after. (T. D. married Susan Adkins and Max married Martha Jane Snider - her family also lived in Healdton in 1890). Dr. W.'s daughter, Rhoda, 16, was already married to Lucian Hathcock, a widower, and was also living in/around Healdton with Lucian's two young children. Dr. Williamson's second wife, Rhoda Cornwell Mathews Williamson, had died the year before. T. C.'s 3rd wife's name was "M. E".; she's buried in the Brown, Pottwatomie county, OK, (near Tecumseh) cemetery, and it is believed she was a widow, but no one seems to know much else about her except that she was called either "Katie" or "Molly/Mollie", and she was the female shown in the 1890 census in Healdton. They all moved to Brown, which they essentially established, en masse not too long after this census was taken. Any information about any of these folks (particularly the Williamson family patriarch and M. E.) will be most appreciated. If others who may have moved at the same time are known, why would they have moved all at once and in a group?
