January 19, 1958 Daily Corinthian Newspaper, Corinth, Mississippi Services for Robert W. Lang, Jr. of Rienzi Community are to be held Sunday morning at 9:30 o'clock at McPeters' Chapel with Revs. Paul and Silas Lang, nephews of the deceased from Moulton, Alabama in charge of final rites. Mr. Lang, a retired blacksmith, died Friday afternoon at 5 o'clock of a heart attack at the Northeast Miss. Hospital in Booneville, Mississippi. He had suffered a stroke in Oct. of 1957 from which he had not fully recovered. Born in Ardmore, Oklahoma, Mr. Lang was a member of the Baptist Church, which he joined at early age. He moved to Rienzi in 1919 and had made his home there since. He was married to Lavinia Thompson at Decatur, Alabama in 1907. Mr. Lang was 74 years of age. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Robert W. Lang, Jr., of Rienzi; two sons, Leslie H. Lang of Mobile, Alabama, and George R. Lang of Jackson, Tennessee; two daughters, Mrs. Truman Smith of Rienzi and Mrs. David Fuller of Mobile, Alabama; one brother, Ollie Lang of Battle Creek, Michigan; one sister, Mrs. Emma Harris of Courtland, Alabama; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Interment will be in the Symerna Cemetery, near Moulton, Alabama with McPeters' Funeral Home of Corinth in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be his nephews, Archie Lang, D. Lang, Harold Lang, Ira Bush, Arthur Terry, Marvin Terry, Edward Terry and Frank Terry.
