All of you were so good to help make the card shower a big success for my mom. Now I need to ask for another card shower. My step dad has been so good at watching out for Mom that if it hadn't been for him, I am sure we would have lost Mom many years ago. He just couldn't believe there were so many people in the world who would go out of their way to send a birthday card to someone they didn't even know. O'Dell Jones will be 74 years old (13 years younger than Mom) on May 15 this year. I am in hopes that he can receive even more cards than Mom did. He sometimes thinks that he's an outsider, no matter how much we tell him that he is one of us. He is one of those 'good ole country boys.' His family lines came to Texas and Oklahoma from Kentucky and Tennessee. I'm waiting to find out if his Jones and Isaacs and Roberts families are the same as mine.
