My great grandmother Eveline Shillings is buried in Wilson Creek Cemetery. My grandfather James E. Bowling has land records filed at the Ardmore, Court House as early as 1906 in the Provence, area. James E. Bowling married Amanda C. Shilling's in Wise, County, TX, they came to Carter County IT, with her mother Eveline Shilling sometime before she died in 1883. Several of Eveline's sons and daughters also came at that time. James and Amanda Shilling Bowling are buried at Rosehill, cemetery along with other members of the Bowling family. I have the complete Shillings and Bowling lines back to the 1700 in VA and SC. I was born in Ardmore,Okla in 1936. Nice to visit with you. Mary Bowling Cox
