He is of Chocktaw decent from Ardmore, Carter Co. OK. His father's name was Runny Jennings, born Sept. 1893. The information he has is that a family found Runny alone at age 3. It was later discovered that his parents were dead from smallpox. Runny was adopted by a family named Brown, apparently with the consent of a female sibling. The only other information is the name Meu Loford or Loford Meu, and the date February 23,????. I was wondering if you could give me any advice on how to conduct a search. I don't know where to start or what contacts to make. I have no idea what records might be available. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much! Joan Mikels
