W.L., I can offer some help with your note from the Dawes Commission. Rector, James H. Tribe, Choctaw Record: Enrollment Age 55 Enrollment: By Blood (Choctaw citizen by blood.....marriage to a Choctaw) Blood %I/W ( there is no blood quantum listed and the I/W stands for intermarried white. He was apparently a white man married to a Choctaw woman ) Card # 5810 ( this is the Choctaw census card that the family is listed on) It will list parents of the husband and wife, the children, others who lived with them at the time, ages, blood quantum, district they lived in, etc. I can help you locate this card free of charge if you want to but please contact me off list. Roll # NR ( I truly don't know what this represents but it would seem that at the time of this note, he did not have a roll number.) perhaps someone on the list can shed some light on this.
