Most of the stores were on the highway that goes to Ardmore. I went to school with Eddie Bray but can not remember any Reeves. The families in Hewitt during the fifties were the Becks, Chandlers, Taylors, Wadkins, Cannon, Alexander, Perry, Colletts, Todds, Cowans, Chance, and the Stearns lived there during the 30's. There was a boarding house in Hewitt around 1920 as my grandfather was supposed to have lived in it around 1919.
