I am interested in your surname Owens. My grandfather was John Clair Owens. He was born in Arkansas but grew up in Ardmore Oklahoma. His father was James Allen Owens. His mother Etta Rebecca. He had several brothers and sisters: Clyde, Kelsey,Hayes,Henry, Dorothy,Verna,Billie Jean,Ruby,Virginia Eunice and Mary Frances. James Allen had 2 brothers Taylor Jefferson and John W. (?) Buddy. His sisters were Lonie,Mary Jane, Elizabeth and Dora. I believe Dora died very young. One of his brothers was suppose to have a furniture company there in Ardmore.
