Does someone have a history of Carter Co., Ok., and could you check and see if there is a Hays/Hayes family listed? My John Hays/Hayes was probably in Carter Co. between 1860 and 1887. He died there in 1887 and is buried in the Lone Grove Cemetery. John Hays/Hayes (b. 1813) was my ggggrandfather. Thanks for any help. Dorothy
