I've been reading your messages concerning the Benhams in the southern counties of Oklahoma. My grandfather was John N. Benham,Jr. Other than the fact that he was born in Indiana in 1869, I know nothing about him. He married Sarah Frances Rice around 1897or 1898, probably in Jefferson, Carter, or Love County. They lived in Ringling, Tishamingo, and Atoka that I know of. Both died in Atoka. Could there be a connection to your Benhams? Would really appreciate any information. Ann Benham-Burgess
